Genuine advice series: Can’t say “I was wrong” [to do a PhD]

by phdscam

James Randi has some funny observation: A PhD would never say:

I was wrong. I dont know.

In reality, many has made the tragic mistake of getting into PhD in the first place, not knowing what it would entail. Wasting six years and a inflated or badly deflated ego is probably not the best you could have after years of voluntary slavery. Honestly, how many PhDs ended up seeing the “value” in all those “procrastinating hard work”?
